I HAVE JUST PUT A NEW VIDEO ON YOUTUBE WHICH PROVES THAT THE INFORMATION SHARED BY MICHAEL JOSEPH AND JOE ESPOSITO ON THE LARRY KING SHOW WITH GAIL BREWER-GIORGIO REGARDING THE POOL HOUSE DOOR PHOTO IS HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE AT BEST.
THE FOLLOWING IS THE TITLE AND DESCRIPTION ON YOUTUBE WITH MY VIDEO:
ELVIS POOL HOUSE DOOR PHOTO. ON LARRY KING SHOW, PHOTOGRAPHER LIES ABOUT HIS EARLIER STATEMENTS ON TAPE.
In this excerpt of Gail Brewer-Giorgio's 2nd appearance on the Larry King Show...this one after her book had become a New York Times bestseller. Joe Esposito appears & declares that the person in the pool house door photo is Al Strada...you will see Joe's explanation become questionable.
Then Mike Joseph is interviewed via phone and attempts to retract his earlier statements. If you listen carefully, you will see that Mike's statements are all over the place: says he never made a tape in which he said it was Elvis in the photo; says he changed his mind when he met with George Klein and Joe Esposito; says he told Gail in Feb. 1988 that it was NOT Elvis in the photo; says that George Klein told him that it was Elvis' cousin Jimmy who was never liked by Elvis and who began hanging around after Elvis was gone.
Joe then loses some of his confidence and, when asked, after the story about Jimmy, says in a weak little voice "Yes, I do." after Larry asked him if he says it is Al Strada.
Mike Joseph said that he made the interview tape about his taking of the photo AFTER he told Gail that IT WAS NOT Elvis in the photo!?! What is that supposed to mean? He says there is no tape of him saying that he said it was Elvis and then turns around and speaks about doing the interview tape.
So, what it boils down to is that Joe says it is Al Strada but did not come prepared to show an actual photo of Al Strada. Then Mike Joseph says that he believed it was Elvis Presley up until the last year and that he changed his mind based on what George Klein said about the cousin, Jimmy, and what Joe said. Extremely flimsy explanations by both Joe and Mike Joseph AND CONTRADICTORY TO BOOT.
This show was done in a very disrespectful and aggressive manner toward Gail. Larry King denied that he had the tape of Mike Joseph saying it was Elvis in the photo....even though Gail had sent a copy of the tape to Larry before the show. Also, Mike Joseph says he would like for her to play that tape...as if to say it does not exist.

IT HAS COME TO MY ATTENTION THAT THE RUMOR IS MAKING THE ROUNDS NOW CONCERNING THE FACT THAT MR. JOSEPH CALLED IN MANY YEARS AGO WHILE GAIL BREWER-GIORGIO WAS APPEARING ON THE LARRY KING SHOW. I DID NOT HAVE ACCESS, AT THAT TIME, TO CABLE CHANELS AND THEREFORE I DID NOT SEE IT WHEN IT AIRED.
HOWEVER, GAIL TOLD ME ABOUT THAT INCIDENT. YES, SHE WAS FLABERGASTED WHEN MR. JOSEPH CALLED IN TO RETRACT EVERYTHING HE HAD SAID ABOUT THE PHOTO IN PRIOR INTERVIEWS. IT IS BELIEVED THAT "SOMEONE" CONVINCED MR. JOSEPH THAT HE SHOULD DENY WHAT HE HAD SAID EARLIER.
AS FOR MYSELF, I DO NOT GIVE ANY CREDENCE TO MR. JOSEPH'S DENIAL. THE INTACT NEGATIVES, THE LETTER FROM KODAK,, THE FACT THAT MR. JOSEPH'S PHOTO AND HIS ACCOMPANYING FACTS AS STATED BY HIM HAD ALREADY BEEN OUT IN THE PUBLIC FOR 3 YEARS... SINCE JANUARY 8, 1985 WHEN API PICKED UP THE STORY OF HIS PHOTO AND HIS ACCOMPANYING STATEMENTS.
AT THAT TIME, IT WAS STATED THAT PLAYBOY MAGAZINE WAS GOING TO PUBLISH AN ARTICLE ABOUT IT. I AM SORRY THAT I DO NOT KNOW IF PLAYBOY EVER PUBLISHED THE ARTICLE.
IT SHOULD BE NOTED ALSO THAT JOE E. HAS STATED THAT THE MAN IN THE POOL HOUSE DOOR PHOTO WAS AL STRADA. JOE WAS ASKED IF AL STRADA LOOKED LIKE ELVIS AND I BELIEVE HIS RESPONSE WAS SOMETHING LIKE " HE DID IN THAT PICTURE". BELOW IS A PHOTO OF AL STRADA FOR YOU TO COMPARE.
THE PHOTO BELOW IS TAKEN FROM THE TRAILER TO ADAM MUSKIEWICZ'S DOCUMENTARY WHICH HAS BEEN IN PRODUCTION FOR SEVERAL YEARS. IF YOU HAVE NOT VISITED ADAM'S SITE, YOU MAY WISH TO DO SO...YOU WILL SEE SOME INTERESTING BITS FROM HIS WORK IN PROGRESS MOVIE.

WHEN YOU ACCESS THE FILM TRAILER, YOU WILL ALSO FIND IT INTERESTING TO HEAR MR. STRADA DESCRIBE HOW PEOPLE WERE BREAKING DOWN AND CRYING AND SAYING "IT'S NOT ELVIS" WHEN VIEWING THE "BODY" IN THE COFFIN.
THE ABOVE PHOTO IS AL STRADA...AS YOU CAN SEE HE DEFINITELY DOESNOT RESEMBLE ELVIS WHATSOEVER.
I WAS TOLD BY A CLERK (IN ONE OF THE ELVIS SHOPS DOWN THE STREET FROM GRACELAND) THAT WHEN GAIL'S BOOK CAME OUT ALONG WITH THE PHOTO AND IT WAS STATED THAT IT WAS AL STRADA IN THE PHOTO, AL STRADA HIMSELF CAME INTO THEIR STORE AND ASKED TO SEE THE PHOTO IN THE BOOK WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HIM. THE CLERK TOLD ME THIS WHEN WE VISITED GRACELAND IN THE FALL OF 1988...SO IT WAS VERY FRESH IN HER MIND. IT APPEARED THAT AL STRADA DID NOT KNOW WHAT WAS BEING TOLD ABOUT HIM AND WANTED TO SEE FOR HIMSELF WHAT PEOPLE WERE TALKING ABOUT.
AT THAT TIME, IT WAS PUBLISHED THAT PLAYBOY MAGAZINE WAS GOING TO PUBLISH AN ARTICLE ABOUT IT. I AM SORRY THAT I DO NOT KNOW IF PLAYBOY EVER PUBLISHED THE ARTICLE.
ALSO, I DO KNOW THAT A RELATIVE OF ELVIS' WAS ON A FLIGHT COINCIDENTLY WITH MR. JOSEPH. MR. JOSEPH APPROACHED THIS RELATIVE AND OFFERED TO GIVE THE PHOTO AND ACCOMPANYING MATERIAL TO THE RELATIVE SO THEY COULD "DO SOMETHING" WITH IT. THIS RELATIVE TOLD ME OF THIS HIMSELF. HE DID NOT ACCEPT THE PHOTO FROM MR. JOSEPH.
LASTLY IN THE FOLLOWING EXCERPT FROM PAGE #32 "INSIDE GRACELAND" BY NANCY ROOKS WHO WAS ELVIS' MAID, YOU WILL READ THAT SHE TELLS THE HISTORY OF THE CHAIR WHICH MR. JOSEPH WAS MOST LIKELY DESCRIBING IN HIS VIDEO. YOU WILL SEE THAT THIS BARBER CHAIR HAD BEEN MOVED FROM ELVIS' UPSTAIRS BATHROOMTO THE BATHROOM NEAR THE SWIMMING POOL. THIS FURTHER SUBSTANTIATES THAT MR. JOSEPH WAS TELLING THE TRUTH WHEN HE DESCRIBED THE CHAIR. MR. JOSEPH SAID THAT IT WAS ELVIS' FAVORITE CHAIR AND THAT HE HAD HIS HAIR CUT IN THAT CHAIR.

There will be many of you who have seen the pool house door photo in various places over the years. I have decided to create this dedicated page to it in order that I may post some things to document it.
This copy of the photo is better quality than most. Gail Brewer-Giorgio gave me this color photo printed on photo paper which makes it much clearer than most copies which we have seen. This photo was taken on January 1, 1978 at Graceland; four and one half months after Elvis "retired" on August 16, 1977.
This comparison photo is not mine. I copied it from someone else's YouTube video. Here is the link to this person's video. My thanks to the person (whom I do not know) who compiled this great match of photos.
The following letter is documentation from Kodak that the negatives and the photo have not been altered in any way.
The following is an enlarged view of the above letter...please excuse that the enlargement cuts off a small part of the letter. The full copy of the letter above may be referenced for the portion not on the enlarged copy.
The following copies are of the intact negatives proving that the sequence of the photos dates the pool house door photo as being taken after Elvis' grave was placed at Graceland.In these various copies, you will be able to see the grave followed on the strip of negatives by the pool house door photo. (see the numbers below the photos.)
